Meet Our Staff

Kristy – Office Manager
Kristy has been an essential part of G&G Family Dental Care since 2006. Prior to joining the practice, she gained over 10 years of dental experience working at two other offices. With a deep passion for dentistry, Kristy takes pride in helping patients navigate their treatment options and making dental care affordable and accessible. She treats every patient like family and works hard to ensure they feel valued and supported.

Outside the office, Kristy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, Rebecca. A true animal lover, she has developed an extensive reptile collection—thanks to her family’s shared enthusiasm. Among all her pets, her favorite is Jack, a small and lovable Dachshund-Yorkie mix.

In the summertime, Kristy enjoys camping and volunteers at Fish Lake Beach Camping Resort in Volo, where she helps host children's activities.

Rebecca – Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator
Rebecca has been part of the G&G Family Dental Care family since 2006 and officially joined the team as a staff member in 2020. She is currently a part-time student at DaySpring College, pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies. Her strong faith and commitment to service inspire her passion for dentistry—helping others achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Rebecca is certified in coronal polishing and Zoom Whitening, and she has a special interest in cosmetic care. She stays up to date on the latest whitening technologies and loves helping patients enhance their smiles through safe and effective treatments.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, hiking, boating, magnet fishing, and diving into a good book.

Amanda – Treatment Coordinator
Amanda joined G&G Family Dental Care in 2025 and has been a wonderful addition to our front office team. She brings valuable experience from a pediatric dental practice, where she played a key role in helping a new office grow and thrive. Known for her creativity and compassion, Amanda developed a unique stuffed animal “Bravery Squad” system to help young patients feel more comfortable during their dental visits—an approach that reflects her dedication to patient care and continues to influence her work at G&G.

Affectionately known as “Amanda Panda” for her love of panda bears, she brings warmth and positivity to both patients and staff alike.

An old soul at heart, Amanda enjoys spending her downtime quilting, sipping tea with friends, and relaxing with her beloved cat.

Dagmara- Insurance Coordinator

Dagmara has been a part of G&G Family Dental Care since 2009. She’s the vital force behind the scenes, ensuring all insurance benefits are up to date and that our patients receive the most accurate information regarding their treatment plans. Dagmara brings genuine love and compassion to her role—something that began over 20 years ago when she first came to us as a patient herself. Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, staying active in his sports and activities, traveling, and sharing great moments with close friends.

Gem – Dental Assistant
Gem has been a valued member of G&G Family Dental Care since 2018. Originally from England, she moved to the U.S. in high school and has since built a rewarding career in dentistry. Her passion and enthusiasm for the field shine through in everything she does.

Certified in coronal polishing and whitening, Gem primarily assists Dr. German chairside. Her calming British accent, great sense of humor, and warm personality help put even the most nervous patients at ease. Having once been fearful of the dentist herself, Gem brings deep empathy to her role and is a strong advocate for patient comfort and care.

Outside the office, Gem stays busy with her three energetic daughters, who are active in sports and cheerleading. She and her husband enjoy coaching and staying involved in their local community.

Anna – Dental Assistant
Anna joined G&G Family Dental Care in 2023 and has quickly become an indispensable part of our clinical team. Fun fact—her sister also works here as a dental hygienist, and with their similar voices, patients sometimes do a double-take! You could say dentistry truly runs in the family.

As our lead floor assistant, Anna excels at managing the schedule, keeping the clinical flow running smoothly, and ensuring that everything is operating at the highest standard. She has a naturally caring approach with patients and consistently goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable. Whether supporting the dentist or hygienist, Anna is always one step ahead, lending a hand wherever needed to enhance the patient experience.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family. She’s an avid video gamer, loves to travel, and can often be found curled up with a good book.

Ashlyn – Dental Assistant
Ashlyn joined G&G Family Dental Care in 2024, initially starting at the front desk as a treatment coordinator. Her eagerness to be more hands-on quickly led her into the clinical side of dentistry, where she now thrives as a dental assistant.

A current student at the College of Lake County, Ashlyn is pursuing a career as an X-ray technician and has always had a strong passion for healthcare. She’s dedicated to making patients feel welcome and at ease, always greeting them with a warm smile and positive attitude.

Outside of work and school, Ashlyn enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family, playing volleyball, and hanging out with friends.

Oleksandra (Sasha) – Dental Assistant
Sasha joined G&G Family Dental Care in 2023 after moving to the U.S. from Ukraine. Although she had no prior dental background, her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn have allowed her to thrive and grow into a skilled dental assistant.

You’ll often find Sasha chairside, assisting the dentist with care and precision. She brings a calm, empathetic presence to the office and has a natural talent for working with children, making even the youngest patients feel at ease.

Outside of work, Sasha enjoys spending time outdoors and relaxing with a good book.

Abby – Dental Assistant
Abby joined G&G Family Dental Care in 2025 and brings a fresh perspective and strong passion for dentistry. A Grayslake native, she recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and is currently in her gap year while applying to dental school to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist.

Her dedication to the field is evident through her volunteer work on dental mission trips and her time shadowing various dental specialists. This diverse experience has made her a valuable member of the G&G team, offering insight and enthusiasm that enhances both patient care and team collaboration.

Abby is eager to gain hands-on experience and continues to excel in her role. She’s known for her friendly smile, upbeat attitude, and strong attention to detail.

In her downtime, Abby enjoys creating nail art, embroidering, and spending time outdoors.

Alex – Dental Assistant
Alex has been part of G&G Family Dental Care since 2021. While she primarily works with us on Saturdays, her contributions are always appreciated. Currently pursuing a nursing degree, Alex brings valuable experience from her clinical hospital rotations, making her a well-rounded and compassionate member of our team.

Her passion for healthcare—both medical and dental—drives her to help patients improve their overall well-being. Whether supporting oral health or general wellness, Alex is dedicated to making a positive impact.

In her free time, Alex enjoys spending time with friends, going out to clubs, and creating fun content on TikTok.
